Students can move through halls, beautiful chambers, and dark casemates, while learning about everything from Renaissance royal power to military history, myths, and world literature. Kronborg Castle is the ideal destination for schools, institutions, and daycare centers that want an engaging and academically relevant experience outside the classroom.

One castle - many professional perspectives
Kronborg is particularly is a platform for education in various subjects. In history classes, the castle can provide a framework for topics such as the Renaissance, the Reformation, military strategy, and the Danish-Norwegian era of great power. In Danish, students can experience the world of Hamlet and discuss how a fictional story has influenced the real-world perception of the place. In social studies and cultural subjects, one can address themes such as national identity, monarchy, and the staging of power.
