During the holidays, the castle offers child-friendly activities for all ages. Join our award-winning history hunt, take part in guided tours designed especially for children, and explore interactive exhibitions where history comes to life in a fun and engaging way. You can also follow in the footsteps of kings and queens through the castle’s corridors and grand ballroom, and encounter the legendary Holger Danske in the dark casemates.

History Hunt: Find the Traitor in the Castle
The year is 1658. Kronborg Castle is under siege by the Swedish army. The king’s soldiers must defend the castle to the very last man.
But something is wrong — the Swedes always seem to know the soldiers’ next move. Someone is secretly working with the enemy — a traitor. But who?
We need your help. Explore the castle, speak with the three suspects, and decide for yourself who the traitor is.

Visit our special exhibition FEST, where the whole family can explore the lavish parties of the Renaissance. Join us through nine spectacular rooms that give you a taste of royal parties in the Renaissance. Take a selfie in beautiful dresses, walk across the crooked floor and dance with the shadows to Britney Spears at the castle.
