The Launbjerg Brothers' Christmas Concert 2026
For more than 10 years, the brothers Søren, Jacob and Henrik Launbjerg have welcomed the Christmas season with song at Kronborg Castle, creating a truly special holiday tradition for audiences.
In 2026, they return to the castle, where, together with pianist Fredrik Mellqvist, they once again invite audiences to a warm, festive and atmospheric Christmas concert. Audiences can look forward to an evening filled with musical intimacy, sing-alongs, smiles and plenty of good cheer.
The repertoire is wide-ranging, offering everything from the biggest musical hits and the best of the pop world to oldies but goodies, classics by The Mills Brothers, and, of course, the beloved Christmas classics that are an essential part of the festive season.
As tradition dictates, the brothers also have a special surprise up their sleeve. Because at Christmas, anything can happen.
Look forward to an unforgettable concert experience in a magnificent setting, with beautiful harmonies and the warmth, charm, and energy that over the years have made Christmas at the Castle a beloved holiday tradition at Kronborg Castle.
The concerts will take place on December 14 and 15 at 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

At the red gate after the last moat, you can also purchase an admission ticket using a payment card.
Public transport
By train
The train is the most convenient way to reach Kronborg Castle, and the journey itself is part of the experience. Take the Coastal Railway (Kystbanen) operated by DSB from Copenhagen Central Station (København H) directly to Helsingør Station. Trains run approximately every 20 minutes throughout the day, and the journey takes around 46 minutes.
Once you arrive at Helsingør Station, Kronborg is just a 10-minute walk along the harbor with views of the castle appearing already as you leave the station. Follow the waterfront north and the castle will guide you the rest of the way.
By bus Bus lines 801A and 802 serve Helsingør Station, connecting the town with the wider North Zealand area. From the station, Kronborg is a pleasant 10-minute walk along the harbor. Bus travel is a good option if you're coming from nearby towns such as Hillerød or Fredensborg.
By car Kronborg is located at Kronborg 2C, 3000 Helsingør. From Copenhagen, follow the E47 motorway north toward Helsingør — the drive takes approximately 45–50 minutes depending on traffic.
Public parking is available at Nordhavnsvej, a 5-minute walk north of the castle. Note that the car park fills up quickly during peak hours around midday, especially in summer — we recommend arriving before 10:30 or after 14:00 if possible.
Accessible parking is available inside the castle grounds, to the left of the red gate.
