Join us on a Hamlet history hunt, help the court to appoint a new ruler after the king's untimely death. Test your strength with the castle's many activities for children, enjoy the view from the cannon tower, and take a walk along the ramparts.
We have exciting experiences for the whole family, and remember; there is free admission for children and young people under 18 years old.

Also discover our fun, interactive stations where you can try your hand at life in a Renaissance castle. Write with a quill, talk to the cheeky parrot, or take aim when you fire the air cannon!

Meet Holger the Dane and enjoy the castle
Take a break and enjoy an ice cream in our café while you gather strength for a visit to the casemates, where you can meet our snoring legendary hero Holger Danske. Also let yourself be captivated by the grandeur of the Ballroom, and take the 145 steps up to the Cannon Tower, where you can enjoy the most amazing view over the Øresund.
